Booking Information
Deposit: We require a non-refundable deposit of £100 at the time of booking to confirm your cottage rental. The balance payment is due 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.
Payment: We accept payment by cheque (made payable to “Castle Ely Mill Holidays”) or more preferably by BACs transfer (bank details will be supplied upon request).
Damage deposit: Unlike many holiday rental homes, we do not ask for a damage/security deposit. We do, however, kindly ask that you treat our cottages with the same care and respect you would your own. We trust guests to report any damage or breakages immediately and these will be settled on a case by case basis.
Changeover day/time: This is generally on a Saturday – arrival is from 3pm and departure is by 10am - although we can be flexible.
Cancellation policy: If we have to cancel your booking, we will refund your payment in full. If however you cancel your booking and it is less than 8 weeks prior to the booking, the full rental charge will be incurred unless we are able to re-let the cottage – in which case we will refund your payment minus the non-refundable deposit.
